An international development professional turned impact investment enthusiast, Sana comes to the GSG after having worked across programme management, fundraising and communications in the UK and Pakistan.

She began her career working on a USAID programme to counter violent extremism in Pakistan, where she contributed to programme development and later led on communications. Prior to her work with the GSG, Sana was part of the fundraising team at Unicef UK, where she worked on strategy and developed a diverse portfolio of materials to support the organisation’s efforts worldwide. She is particularly interested in how philanthropic and institutional investment can be channelled to achieve long-term and sustainable positive impact where it is most needed.

Sana holds a BA in International Relations and Journalism from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, USA. She is fluent in English, Urdu and Sindhi.
