Sukanya Narain has been the Program Manager at GSG since March 2018.
Prior to her current role at GSG, she has worked as an ESG Analyst at the largest European asset management firm, Amundi in Paris, and, as a Sustainability & CSR Trainee Consultant at KPMG India and Accor Hotels, Paris. Her work over the past years has spanned across the spectrum of responsible investments to include Innovative Financing, ESG Investing, Social Enterprise/NGO/CSR Consulting, and Sustainability Advisory.
Sukanya’s first deep stint with impact investing was her Masters thesis on the standardization of impact metrics of Social Impact Bonds. At Amundi, she got the opportunity to work on Green Bonds and Social Bonds. Her strong belief in access to capital as a key facilitator of change has propelled her to use her diverse academic and professional background as a lawyer, a management professional, and a sustainability practitioner to pursue a career in impact investing, and to use finance as a tool to enable impact.
Sukanya holds a specialized Masters degree in Sustainability & Social Innovation from HEC Paris Business School, and a Bachelors degree in Law & Management from National Law University, Jodhpur, India.
