Using existing SIBs as case studies, this Brookings paper aims to act as an inventory on the impact bond space at the time of its publication. In analysing the future potential of impact investment, it considers existing claims made about the benefits of impact investment while also looking closely at all impact bond transactions active as of March 1, 2015.
