Carmen is Director of Alliances at Pro Mujer, one of Latin America’s leading women’s development organizations offering access to finance, health and educational services. More recently, Carmen developed a new financial instrument for the government of Uruguay, which aimed to finance a venture capital fund and business accelerator. Carmen is also a board member of Pymecapital, an impact investment fund based in Nicaragua and of Educación Responsable, an NGO that promotes emotional intelligence in Uruguay.
