Carolina Biquard is a lawyer dedicated to strengthen Civil Society.. She founded Fundación Compromiso in 1994. Drawing upon the philosophy of management specialist Peter Drucker, Compromiso developed a new model of training and support for social sector organizations.

She was the President of the Fondo Nacional de las Artes (2015/2018). During her administration, the FNA multiplied by four its budget and scaled the service for 6,000 artists to 98,000 artists and cultural agents.

Carolina is now converting Fundación Compromiso into an Impact Fund, starting with a Network of Schools in Digital Trades for underserved people that aims to become a global collective learning system.
