Started his banking career in 1997 at Banco Santander Central Hispano, where he held several positions until appointed MD at Santander Wealth Management in 2006. Subsequently, worked at Caja Navarra for 2 years as Deputy General Manager. Became President of Banca Civica AM in 2011. When CaixaBank acquired Banca Civica in 2013, assumed new responsibilities as Director of Product Development and remained in that position until he joined CaixaBank AM as Chief Commercial Officer in May 2015. Holds a BBA from the European University, and an Executive MBA from Universidad de Alcala.
