Lara Driscoe

Lara Driscoe is the Managing Director of External Affairs and Impact Partnerships at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), the U.S. Government’s Development Finance Institution. In this role, she is responsible for developing partnerships with the private sector to expand OPIC’s impact investment portfolio in emerging and frontier markets. Previously, Lara was the Senior Director of Government Relations at the Managed Funds Association, where she advocated for policy reforms to protect investors, maintain efficient markets and promote capital formation. Lara has also served on Capitol Hill as a Senior Policy Advisor for financial services issues. Prior to that, she served as Legislative and Regulatory Counsel at a firm representing various clients on financial services regulatory and policy matters. Lara received her J.D. from the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. and B.A. from the University of Maryland.
