Maria Jose Montero is founding member of FIS|Ameris, pioneers in impact investment in Chile, managing today two funds for a total of more than USD 14MM.

She is board member of the Chilean Association of Fund Managers (ACAFI) and member of the Advisory Council of Comunidad Mujer. Throughout her career, she has participated as board member and advisory councils of various institutions in the private, public and civil society sectors.

Maria Jose Montero holds an MSc in Social Policy and Planning from the London School of Economics (2006), a Bachelor’s Degree in Economic from the Universidad Católica de Chile (2002) and a Diploma in Impact Investment from the Said Business School from the University of Oxford
