What has it accomplished?

Bridge pupils are excelling according to independent national exam results. In Kenya, pupils take the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE), the 8th grade primary school exit exam. This provides an external measurement of pupils’ academic progress, and the opportunity to compare Bridge results with neighbouring schools. In 2015, 63% of Bridge pupils passed the exam, compared to the national passing rate of 49%. The results from 2016 were similar, as the Bridge passing rate of 59% once again significantly exceeded the national of 49%.
