What is d.light?

d.light believe that solar lighting will provide a safe alternative to kerosene, but that the impact will reach far beyond that – it extends the hours of the day such that children can study and perform better in school and adults can start and run small business enterprises. In areas such as India and sub-Saharan Africa, the company’s solar lanterns typically replace toxic and dangerous kerosene lamps, providing life-changing improvements in personal health and security, as well as enhanced productivity and access to information.
