A paper by Social Finance and the Center for Global Development explaining what Social Impact Bonds are and how they can be used. Social Finance launched the first Social Impact Bond in the criminal justice sector in 2010 and variations of this model have since been piloted in many other countries. The report is aimed at donors, partner governments, investors and service providers, with the intention that they consider and test the opportunities that Social Impact Bonds can bring.
